You will be joining our new North East Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership service. This is a vibrant new partnership delivering substance use treatment and recovery services across North East Lincolnshire.
Role Responsibility
You'll work within North East Lincolnshire to provide person centred support to our service users by utilising the best principles of medicines optimisation. Your main roles will include
Supporting the delivery and review of community pharmacy supervised consumption, needle and syringe provision and take home naloxone services including training of community pharmacy teams
Provide counselling and support to clients regarding prescribed medication
Administration of vaccinations and other medication
Reviewing and sharing learning from medicines incidents with the service and local community pharmacies
Controlled Drugs (CD) monitoring support
Medicines optimisation audit work
Provide medicines optimisation advice and support to colleagues in the service
The Ideal Candidate
With a current General Pharmaceutical Council registration, you'll be able to show relevant current or past experience working in a medicines optimisation team at the primary or secondary care interface or working in or close to substance use services.
