CNC Miller Setter Operator Location: Warwick Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford upon Avon, Rugby Hours: 39 hours per week Pay: £16.31-£16.98 per hour Shift Allowance: £16.98 per shift (£95 per week) - Afternoon shift only Shift Pattern Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:45 Friday: 07:00 - 13:00Afternoon Shift Pattern Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 23:30 Friday: 12:45 - 17:30About the Company Our client is a precision engineering manufacturer supplying components and assemblies to the aerospace and motorsport industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their production team. The Role You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Milling machines to manufacture high precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. Set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision components Work with FANUC CNC programs including canned cycles Read and interpret final and stage engineering drawings Upload programs into machines and set tools, chucks, collets and fixtures Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment Record dimensions against drawing requirements during the manufacturing process Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshootingAbout You Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines Familiar with FANUC controls and canned cycles Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic maths skills for machining calculations A recognised engineering apprenticeship would be advantageousHow to Apply To apply for the CNC Miller Setter Operator position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
