Semi Senior Accountant

We are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a dynamic firm of accountants to be based at the firm’s office on the outskirts of Maidenhead. The role would suit someone who is part qualified ACCA, ACA, or AAT, with at least a year’s experience gained within a UK accountancy firm. As Semi Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will grow with training where required, to include: * Statutory accounts preparation – supporting senior members of the team with year-end accounts and advisory work * Management accounts preparation * Assisting with tax and VAT work * Bookkeeping * Liaise with clients and assisting with queries * Assisting with payroll as required during busy periods * Company secretarial * Ad hoc duties as required We welcome applications from candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes: * At least one years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice * Ideally have started studying for an accountancy qualification, although not essential * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Be IT literate and ideally have some experience of QuickBooks, Sage and/or Xero * Have a willingness to learn and develop an accountancy career within practice Within this dynamic, supportive environment, with a study package and mentoring, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a full range of accounting skills and progress.
