- A Level, GCSE & Functional Skills Location: West Midlands Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary & Permanent opportunities Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications) Start Date: ASAP / September starts available We are currently recruiting Maths Lecturers and Teachers across the West Midlands to deliver A Level, GCSE, and Functional Skills Maths within schools and FE colleges.

The Role You will deliver high-quality Maths teaching across A Level, GCSE, and/or Functional Skills, supporting learners to achieve strong outcomes and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Key responsibilities include: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across your specialism Teach A Level, GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability and resit learners Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Support learners with exam preparation and confidence building Contribute to curriculum delivery and departmental success Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Essential Requirements QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching A Level, GCSE or Functional Skills Maths Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage learners Excellent classroom management and communication skills Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Desirable Experience within Further Education or Sixth Form settings Strong results with GCSE resit learners Ability to teach across multiple levels (FS, GCSE, A Level) What's on Offer Opportunities across high-performing schools and FE colleges Flexible working options (permanent, temporary, part-time) Competitive pay rates and salary packages Supportive departments and leadership teams Access to modern facilities and teaching resources Ongoing CPD and career progression opportunities Ready to Apply?
