We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential developer for an experienced Customer Service Maintenance Operative to join their growing team. This is a field-based role covering multiple developments across Derby and the East Midlands. The position offers a varied workload and the opportunity to work within a highly professional environment.

This position is ideal for a skilled multi-trade operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship alongside excellent customer service.

The Role:

  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused maintenance service, aiming for first-time resolution
  • Carry out a range of remedial and snagging works to a high standard
  • Complete tasks across multiple trades including carpentry, patch plastering, silicone works, plumbing, and decorating
  • Plan and manage your own workload efficiently to meet scheduled appointments
  • Ensure all work is signed off by customers upon completion
  • Identify and escalate any issues or risks appropriately
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Work from drawings, instructions, and site information as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar multi-trade or maintenance role - ideally in new build or high end renovation sector
  • Strong skills in carpentry, plaster patching, silicone application, and decorating (essential)
  • Good understanding of general construction and health & safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your xwzovoh own schedule effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate and comfortable using handheld devices/systems
  • Full UK driving licence
