We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Clerk to join our busy transport team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a fast-paced logistics environment.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 19:30 – 04:00 (Night Shift)

Pay Rates:

• Starting from £13.29 per hour
• Increasing up to £14.89 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a Despatch Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient transport operations. Your duties will include:

• Briefing drivers before their shifts, ensuring they have all relevant route and delivery information
• Debriefing drivers on return, collecting paperwork and updating records
• Despatching drivers for collections and deliveries in a timely manner
• Monitoring vehicle runs to ensure schedules are met and operations remain compliant
• Communicating with drivers and internal teams to resolve any issues
• Maintaining accurate records and using internal systems
