Assistant Site Manager Location: Exeter Sector: House Building – Affordable Housing Salary: Circa £45,000 + Package The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a 68-unit affordable housing development in Exeter. This role offers the chance to work alongside an experienced site team on a live residential scheme, gaining exposure across all stages of delivery while developing your long-term career within house building and residential construction. Role Overview You will be responsible for: * Supporting the day-to-day management of a live housing development. * Assisting with subcontractor coordination and site supervision. * Monitoring programme and site progress. * Supporting health & safety and quality compliance. * Managing snagging and finishing works. * Assisting with site documentation and reporting. * Liaising with internal teams and supply chain partners. * Supporting project delivery through to handover. About You * Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction. * House building or affordable housing experience preferred. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Proactive and hands-on approach to site management. * Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing business. * SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
