We are now looking for a talented Technician with PSV or HGV experience to join our Bangor engineering team.This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge who wants to apply their skills within a professional engineering environment, supporting the safety, performance and reliability of our fleet.What you will be doingYou will carry out repairs, diagnostics and system maintenance across a variety of vehicles. Your work will help ensure our buses operate safely and efficiently every day. Responsibilities include:Diagnosing and repairing faults on PSV, HGV and Light Goods VehiclesCarrying out routine electrical inspections, servicing and preventative maintenanceInstalling, repairing and replacing electrical components such as wiring looms, alternators, starter motors, batteries, lighting systems, climate control units and infotainment systemsUsing diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issuesEnsuring all repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standardsCompleting accurate and timely reports on work carried outWorking alongside mechanics, technicians and engineers within a collaborative depot environmentKeeping up to date with new and emerging vehicle electrical technologies, including hybrid and electric systemsParticipating in overtime and on-call rotas when requiredWhat we are looking forEssential:A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in Vehicle Electrical or Electronic Systems (or equivalent)Hands-on electrical experience with PSV, HGV or Light Vehicle fleetsStrong diagnostic capability and confidence working with wiring diagrams and schematicsExperience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipmentFull UK driving licence.
