Primary Teaching Assistant – Shropshire and Telford

Location: Shropshire and Telford

Protocol Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work in supportive primary schools across Shropshire and Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, experienced teaching assistants or anyone looking to begin a career in education.

The Role

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
