Field Service Engineer (Pumps)
to their growing team.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various pump systems on customer sites. You'll work both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently. Typical duties include: Servicing and repairing centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on-site Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Installing and commissioning new pump systems Providing technical support and advice to customers Completing accurate service reports and documentation
About You
We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in field-based work. Ideally you will have: Experience working with industrial or commercial pump systems Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills A background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering Good understanding of hydraulics and rotating equipment Full UK driving licence A self-motivated approach and strong customer-facing skills- IPAF Certification Confined Space Training 18th edition Electrical Competency
