BRG are delighted to be working with a well established Registered Building Control Approver, part of a wider multi disciplinary inspection and consultancy group with offices across England and Wales. They are looking for a Class 3G/H Principal Registered Building Inspector to join their London team.

This is a senior, technically focused role where you will lead on complex projects, act as the go to point for technical queries and help develop the next generation of Registered Building Inspectors. The business has a friendly, open door culture and genuinely invests in its people.

The Role

• Delivering a professional Building Control service to clients across London

• Managing your own workload of complex and high rise projects

• Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations

• Checking plans for compliance with the Building Regulations

• Acting as the principal point of contact for surveyors' technical queries

• Training and mentoring trainees, apprentices and RBIs working towards higher registration classes

• Advising on fee quotes and supporting the growth of the London region

• Working in line with the RBI Code of Conduct and the company's quality procedures

About You

• Registered Building Inspector, Class 3G and H, with the Building Safety Regulator

• Proven Building Control experience on major and complex projects

• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Confident with clients and committed to excellent customer service xwzovoh

• Happy to support and develop others

• Full UK driving licence
