A full-time opportunity is available for a Behaviour Mentor seeking a new long-term role. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and resilient individual to join a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest. The daily rate for this role ranges from £90 to £120 per day, depending on experience.
The successful candidate should have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Do you have experience supporting children with behavioural needs? Do you have a calm, consistent and proactive approach? Are you based in East London and able to commit to full-time, long-term work?

The Position - Behaviour Mentor
We are looking for a confident and committed Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across the school with managing behaviour and emotional regulation. You will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to provide targeted interventions and in-class support where needed.
A strong ability to build positive relationships, set clear boundaries, and act as a positive role model is essential. You will support pupils in developing strategies to improve behaviour, engagement, and self-confidence in learning.
You may also support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes.
