They are now looking to hire an experienced HVAP Data Centre Shift Leader to join their team in the Docklands.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role within a live data centre environment, overseeing shift operations, managing engineers, and taking ownership of high voltage systems and critical infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
Operating and overseeing all M&E systems within the data centre, including HV/LV systems
Acting as HV Authorised Person, carrying out switching, isolations, and load transfers
Supervising planned and reactive maintenance across critical infrastructure
Managing subcontractors and ensuring all works are completed in line with SOPs, MOPs, and permit-to-work systems
Reviewing risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with health & safety procedures
Leading shift operations, including task allocation, performance, and team support
Completing detailed shift handovers and reporting on all activities
Supporting incident response and fault resolution within a critical environment
Maintaining high standards across plantrooms and ensuring audit readiness
Driving a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the team
What you'll get in return:
Salary up to £56,000 per annum
12-hour continental shifts (days and nights)
20 days annual leave (no bank holidays)

The Person:
HV Authorised Person (essential)
Experience working xwzovoh within a data centre or critical environment
Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical
Experience leading or supervising engineering teams
Strong understanding of permit-to-work systems and health & safety compliance
Confident managing subcontractors and site operations
Good communication and leadership skills
IOSH / NEBOSH, First Aid (desirable)
Ex-forces candidates with relevant technical or leadership experience are encouraged to apply
