Hours: MondayFriday 08:3017:30, plussaturday mornings on a rota

Overview
Im working with a well-established automotive main dealership inHarrogate who are looking to add a PDI Technician to their workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills who wants stability, progression, and access to high-quality training, including hybrid and EV development.

The Role:PDI Technician
Youll be responsible for preparing new and used vehicles to manufacturer standards, carrying out PDI checks, and supporting the wider workshop team. This position suits a technician who enjoys a structured workload, modern equipment, and a professional workshop environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPDI Technician
Completing vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
Carrying out servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
Performing warranty repairs and ensuring accurate documentation
Road-testing vehicles to confirm faults are resolved
Maintaining high standards of paperwork and job write-ups

What Youll Need as aPDI Technician
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Main dealer level 2 considered
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Ability to work independently and support the wider team
Motivated, eager to learn, and open to further training
Newly qualified technicians will also be considered
