Catering Assistant – Term Time Only Location: Spalding Hours: 5–6 hours per day, Monday to Friday Working Pattern: Term time only Our client, based in Spalding, is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their friendly canteen team on a term-time-only basis. The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the canteen, helping with food preparation, serving customers and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for school-hours-style working and the benefit of having the school holidays off. The Role: * Assisting with food preparation and serving * Helping to keep the kitchen and canteen clean and organised * Serving staff and/or students in a friendly and professional manner * Washing up and general kitchen duties * Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures The Person: Previous catering or kitchen experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
