Social Worker – Permanence Team Location: One Angel Square, Northampton Rate: £36.00 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Overview Northampton Children’s Trust is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Permanence Team on an urgent basis. This is a fast-paced role focused on achieving long-term stability and positive outcomes for children in care with a plan of adoption. Key Responsibilities * Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies * Support children looked after by the Local Authority to achieve permanence * Build strong, meaningful relationships with children and young people * Develop and implement effective, proactive care planning * Contribute to adoption planning and permanence outcomes Requirements * Proven experience working with looked after children * Background in LAC, court teams, safeguarding, or similar children’s services * Ability to work in a busy, high-demand environment * Strong communication and relationship-building skills About the Role This role is ideal for a dedicated Social Worker who keeps children at the centre of their practice and is committed to delivering positive outcomes.
