Caretaker (Full-Time) – Immediate Start

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our school on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, safety-focused individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming school environment.

Key Details

• Start date: ASAP
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Pay:£18 – £20 per hour (depending on experience)
• Contract: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• General site maintenance and basic repairs
• Opening and securing the school buildings
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across the site
• Carrying out routine checks (fire alarms, lighting, fencing, etc.)
• Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have previous caretaking, maintenance, or site management experience
• Be practical, hands-on, and able to work independently
• Have a good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Be reliable, punctual, and flexible when required
• Have strong communication skills
