About the role
Bairns Hoose Development Officer (16/1385) (Fixed Term)
Children and Families Social Work Services is recruiting a Bairns’ Hoose Development Officer to support the implementation of a trauma‑sensitive, rights‑based and recovery‑focused Bairns’ Hoose model across Dumfries and Galloway.
This role is focused on service development, implementation and improvement, working at a system and programme level to embed the European Barnahus approach within local arrangements.
Project manage and support the implementation of the Bairns’ Hoose model in Dumfries and Galloway
Work closely with Children and Families colleagues and a range of multi‑agency partners
Contribute to programme planning, governance and delivery arrangements
Apply quality improvement and service improvement methodologies to support effective implementation
Support alignment with national improvement programmes, policies and initiatives
Help ensure that children’s voices and lived experience are reflected in service design and delivery

Project and programme management methodologies

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
