HR Recruit are partnering with an SME in the industrial sector to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to lead the HR team within this growing organisation. Reporting into the MD, you will have 1 direct report. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to develop your HR career.

Role responsibilities
Manage and develop the HR function, line managing the HR & Payroll Assistant and supporting a positive, collaborative team environment
Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide HR input and support business decision-making
Support the ongoing use and improvement of the HRIS, including reporting and process efficiency
Provide guidance on employment law, company policies, and HR best practice, helping to manage risk and offer practical solutions
Identify people-related challenges and support managers with coaching and advice to improve management capability and case handling
Assist with employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant processes
Support the review of compensation and benefits, contributing to retention and reward initiatives in line with market trends
Manage benefits and pension administration, liaising with external providers as required
Oversee monthly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, with processing carried out by the HR & Payroll Assistant
Support internal and external payroll and people-data audits, helping to ensure compliance and data accuracy
Person Specification
Minimum of 3 years previous human resource experience is essential
Previous experience of using a HRIS
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills
Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop yourself and others through continuous training
Proactive character of high integrity, accountability and flexibility

In return you will receive a salary of between 45-55K (depending on experience).
