About the role

Associate Town Planner Location: London Hours: Full-time (flexible working options considered) We are working in partnership with a well-established urban planning consultancy to recruit an Associate Town Planner on a permanent basis. This opportunity would suit an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career, working across a broad range of UK planning projects within a growing, employee-owned consultancy known for developing talent and offering long-term progression. The Role You will work closely with senior leadership and a team of chartered planners, supporting and leading on a diverse portfolio of planning and development projects. ·Involvement in a wide mix of UK-focused planning work, including policy and development ·Exposure to master planning projects, including Homes England schemes ·Work on land promotion for private developers ·Opportunity to contribute to regeneration and strategic planning projects ·Play a key role in business development and supporting team growth ·Associate role will partially cover a maternity leave period starting in September, with scope for longer-term progression ·Collaborative, office-based working environment in London   About You Associate level: ·Strong background in consultancy or developer-side planning ·Proven experience delivering planning applications and strategic projects ·Commercial awareness with the ability to support and drive business development ·Experience managing client relationships and contributing to team growth ·MRTPI (or working towards) is beneficial but not essential ·Adaptable, proactive, and commercially minded   Salary and Benefits ·Associate: £50,000 - £60,000+ (depending on experience) ·Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) structure ·Tax-free bonus scheme ·Salary sacrifice pension scheme ·Clear progression and structured career development ·Opportunity to work on high-profile UK planning and regeneration projects   Additional Information The interview process consists of two stages: an initial Teams interview followed by a face-to-face meeting.
