Role: Teaching assistant Location: M43, Manchester Pay: £14.25 - £16.65 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:300pm, 30 min break) Contract: Temp to Perm Start Date: After half term Reeson Education is recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the m43 area of Manchester. This full-time Teaching Assistant role will be based within the KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils with a range of complex and social, emotional, and mental health needs as well as supporting on a general basis where required. This is a long-term role, (with possible temp-to-perm) Teaching Assistant opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and ready to make a lasting difference. Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing: Supporting pupils in KS1 & KS2 with SEMH and complex needs on both a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of individualised learning programmes Leading sessions and, when needed, taking responsibility for the class under teacher supervision Promoting emotional regulation, positive routines, and engagement in learning Providing pastoral support and helping children develop social and communication skills Working closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team to create a calm and structured environment Supporting personal care and daily routines where requiredTeaching Assistant - Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) - essential Proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH or complex learning needs Confident, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to working with children Full-time availability, Monday to Friday A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)Why Apply for this Teaching Assistant Role?
