TQR are working exclusively with a Manufacturer based in Devon to recruit a dynamic and people centric HR Manager to shape and lead the HR function of the business. This role goes beyond policies and paperworkyoull be a strategic partner who helps build a thriving workplace culture, supports leadership and empowers all internal stakeholders to succeed. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with business goals .
Partner with leadership on organisational structure, workforce planning, and performance management.
Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the business attracts and retains top talent.
Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive company culture.
Manage employee relations, offering guidance on conflict resolution and workplace concerns.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Drive learning and development initiatives to support growth at all levels.
Analyse HR KPIs to inform decision-making and encourage continuous improvement.
Essential Experience, Qualification & Candidate Attributes Required:
CIPD Level 7 qualified coupled with proven experience in an HR leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, employment law and people management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in driving positive cultural change through employee forums, workshops, employee development plans etc.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on decision making.
High emotional intelligence and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Experience with HR systems coupled with the ability to encourage data-driven decision-making.
