Remediation Engineer Location: Manchester Salary: £35,000-£45,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Remediation Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering enabling and remediation works across a wide range of brownfield and regeneration projects throughout the UK. Working as part of an experienced and collaborative team, you will play a key role in the assessment, planning, and delivery of remediation schemes, supporting projects from initial scoping through to on-site execution. What's on Offer: Competitive salary and annual bonus potential Company car or car allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with options to increase) Pension scheme with enhanced contributions Flexible working hours Ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Employee wellbeing support and assistance programmesKey Responsibilities: Undertaking technical assessments and scoping of remediation works Carrying out site investigations, sampling, and data collection Preparing technical reports and documentation Supporting materials management and remediation strategies Ensuring quality assurance and quality control on-site Implementing and monitoring health & safety procedures (including CDM 2015) Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and site teams Assisting with budgeting and cost estimation for remediation worksWhat We're Looking For: 3-5 years' experience in geoenvironmental engineering or remediation Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering) Experience working on brownfield sites and contaminated land projects WAMITAB qualification (desirable) Strong understanding of waste, environmental, and health & safety legislation Experience with technical reporting and site-based assessments CSCS card and full UK driving licence Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a nationally distributed teamThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to progress their career within a forward-thinking organisation delivering complex and high-profile remediation projects across the UK.
