Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1/KS2)
Location: Lambeth, London
Pay Range: £95–£108.65 daily (PAYE/Umbrella)
Contract Type: Temporary
ANZUK Education are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lambeth, seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support within a SEMH unit. This full-time role is available ASAP and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team, helping pupils with a range of additional needs.
The role involves supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication needs, within a structured and well-supported environment.
The school is known for its clear behaviour systems, collaborative staff culture, and strong leadership presence, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Contribute to a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH needs
• Be confident supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Show a commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and families
