Social Worker - Disabled Children's Service

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT)Pay: £38.43 per hour (Umbrella)

Randstad is proud to partner with RCT Council to recruit an experienced Social Worker within the Disabled Children's Service. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a specialist team supporting children with lifelong, permanent, and substantial disabilities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to undertake eligibility assessments for ongoing support and interventions from the Disabled Children's Service. This is a non-case holding role, allowing you to focus on assessments and decision-making rather than managing a caseload.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
• Registered with Social Care Wales
• Strong understanding of legislation and guidance relating to disabled children
• Experience in assessment and eligibility work preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and multi-agency teams
