Heavy Plant Fitter

Plant Fitter Maidstone, Kent Full Time, Permanent Mon - Fri + Saturdays (@double time) £19 - £22 per hour Double Time on Saturday Vehicle & Fuel Card Working in a major quarry in Maidstone, the successful candidate will be repairing and maintaining all of the fixed and mobile plant associated with the quarry. (Crushers, conveyors, screens etc) Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with heavy plant. Good knowledge of hydraulics and preferably some experience with diesel engines as well as good general welding and fabricating experience. Will ideally have BTEC/City & Guilds or similar engineering qualifications. * Repairs & PPM on fixed and mobile plant * Working with hydraulics and Pneumatics * Welding & Fabricating * Working as part of team * Adhering to health and safety * Previous experience in quarry/aggregates/cement (not essential) The client is offering a competitive hourly rate of up to £22 with double time on a Saturday
