Community Support Worker

Adults Social Care | Day Services

Pay rate: £18.65 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 08:45am – 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting a Community Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour within a community-based setting.

This is a hands-on, rewarding role focused on promoting independence, dignity and choice, while enabling service users to access meaningful activities and opportunities in their local community.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals using a person-centred approach
• Assisting with daily activities, community access, learning and leisure opportunities
• Providing personal care and medication support where required
• Managing and responding appropriately to challenging behaviour
• Working in partnership with colleagues, families and professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) xwzovoh or above
• Proven experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
• Experience with personal care and managing challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach

This role is ideal for an experienced support worker seeking a full-time position with consistent weekday hours.
