Job Title:Teaching Assistant – Level 2/3 (SEN Support)

Pay Rate:£95.00 - £98.00 per day

Location:Sutton Coldfield area

Hours:Full-Time | Day-to-Day Supply | Term Time Only 

Smart Education is recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND primary school. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils with complex needs are supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN, a patient and proactive approach, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Job Requirements:• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school environment• Confidence managing challenging behaviour• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain)• Valid passport• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references

Role Responsibilities:• Provide classroom support to pupils with SEN and complex needs• Assist with individual learning plans and personalised interventions• Support social, emotional, and academic development• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
