Computing Teacher We are seeking a passionate and innovative Computing Teacher to join our secondary school. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Computing lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach core areas including programming, algorithms, data representation, networks, and digital literacy
Develop students computational thinking and problem-solving skills
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and high attainers
Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support and participate in enrichment activities, clubs, or STEM initiatives
Ensure safe and responsible use of technology and online systems
About You Qualified Teacher xwzovoh Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Computing or Computer Science
Ability to teach programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
Confident classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management skills
Passionate about technology and inspiring young people
Commitment to raising achievement and continuous professional development
