Are you a Secondary History Teacher in Bristol? Start Date: September 2026 Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (potentially KS5) Are you a History teacher looking for greater flexibility while exploring your next step in education? We are partnering with a number of secondary schools across Lancashire that are currently seeking enthusiastic History teachers. Whether you're interested in day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement, or support in securing a permanent role, we can help you find the right fit. This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) keen to broaden their experience, as well as experienced educators looking for a new teaching environment. What You Can Expect Flexible work that fits around your availability Access to a range of long-term and permanent teaching roles Opportunities to experience different school settings Competitive weekly pay (every Friday) Ongoing CPD and professional development support A dedicated consultant to guide you throughout Role Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent) Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4 Encourage students to explore key historical events, themes, and perspectives Help learners develop critical thinking, analysis, and evaluation skills Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities, including SEND Monitor progress and provide feedback to support student achievement We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it Strong subject knowledge in History Confident classroom and behaviour management skills A passion for bringing history to life in the classroom An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
