SEND Tutor / Autism Tutor – Bromley Autism | ADHD | Speech & Language Needs | SEN | SEND | 1:1 Tuition Location: Bromley and surrounding areas Pay: £25–£35 per hour PAYE Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Flexible Hours New Chapter Tuition is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to support children and young people with Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Speech and Language Needs across Bromley and surrounding areas. This rewarding outreach role involves delivering personalised 1:1 tuition and engagement support for learners aged 5–25 who may struggle within mainstream education or require additional specialist support. Learners may be accessing support through: * EOTAS packages * Alternative Provision * EHCP support * Elective Home Education * EBSA support * Specialist school transition packages Tuition takes place within homes, libraries, schools, community settings, and alternative provisions. The Role * Deliver engaging 1:1 SEN / SEND tuition sessions * Support autistic learners and young people with ADHD and communication needs * Adapt learning approaches to Speech and Language Needs and sensory differences * Build positive relationships that support confidence and engagement * Deliver flexible, nurture-based, and trauma-informed learning approaches * Support learners with emotional regulation and routine * Work towards EHCP outcomes and personalised learning targets * Complete session reports and progress updates Ideal Candidate * Minimum 1 year experience supporting children or young people with SEN / SEND * Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, and/or Speech and Language Needs essential * Background in teaching, tutoring, TA, HLTA, mentoring, or SEND support preferred * Understanding of the UK National Curriculum * Strong communication and behaviour management skills * Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach * Ability to work independently within community settings * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) * Right to work in the UK What We Offer * Competitive PAYE hourly rates (£25–£35 per hour) * Flexible working opportunities * Local tuition placements across Bromley * Ongoing CPD and SEND-specific training * Access to Autism and SEN professional development webinars * Dedicated tutor support team * Long-term progression opportunities Safeguarding New Chapter Tuition is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
