About the role
Responsibilities
* Deliver structural calculations, models and drawings.
* Work with civil, process and MEP teams to produce coordinated, compliant designs.
* Apply relevant design standards (Eurocodes, UK Water Industry specifications).
* Prepare design reports, risk assessments and technical documentation.
* Support structural inspections, surveys and site queries.
* Manage design changes, QA checks, and contribute to design reviews.
* Assist with digital delivery (BIM/CDE workflows) where required.
Candidate Profile
* Preferred experience: 3–5 years’ structural design experience.
* Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steelwork, foundations and below-ground structures.
* Familiar with Eurocodes, CDM, and water industry standards.
* Proficient in structural design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, TEDDS) and CAD/BIM collaboration.
* Excellent communication, report writing and coordination skills.
