We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our fantastic team. This is a fixed-term role for the 2026–2027 academic year, providing 1:1 support to a student. What you’ll be doing: Providing in-class support, whilst promoting pupils independence, self esteem and social inclusion Delivering consistent academic, pastoral, and behavioural support What we’re looking for: Experience of working as a TA, experience across both mainstream and specialist teaching settings is desirable Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs and SEMH requirements A team player who will uphold the mission, values and goals of Arc School Old Arley Good safeguarding awareness Great communication and interpersonal skills A passion for education and helping students thrive Understanding of diverse needs and EHCP requirements Strong literacy, numeracy, organisational and IT skills GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths Why work for us?
