Senior Salesforce Developer - SC Cleared Rate: £675 a day IR35: Inside IR35 Duration: Initial 6 month contract with high likelihood of extension Location: Belfast - estimated one day per week while onboarding moving to largely remote Clearance: SC Clearance required You will join a global IT Consultancy delivering digital transformation to a public sector body. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll be instrumental in shaping innovative Salesforce solution. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid working model, enabling you to work remotely across the UK with occasional travel to client sites in Belfast-primarily in the first month for onboarding. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with client needs, adhering to best practices and quality standards. Collaborate closely with clients to gather detailed requirements, define technical solutions, and support successful deployment and user adoption. Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, utilizing tools such as Jira. Manage client relationships with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and delivering value-driven outcomes. Support and mentor junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing. Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and pursue continuous improvements in development processes. Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and DevOps best practices to support seamless operations. Your skills and experience: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration. Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, platform architecture, and integration capabilities. Proven experience working within Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. A coaching mindset with enthusiasm for mentoring and team development. Desirable: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, App Builder). Experience in a client-facing IT consulting environment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, API integrations, and Salesforce DevOps practices. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
