Manufacturing Technician II
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join our team in Birmingham (B15). In this role, you will play a vital part in producing world-leading diagnostic products that drive global medical progress.
This is a full-time, onsite position offering a regular daytime schedule and the opportunity to work within a high-standard manufacturing environment.
Role Details
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour (approx. £28,142 per annum)
Contract: 6 Months (Full-Time)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Available
Key Responsibilities
Production: Independently manage your workload against the daily manufacturing plan.
Inventory: Manage and transact materials to ensure production lines remain active.
Maintenance: Perform scheduled activities and basic upkeep for designated equipment and areas.
Quality: Take personal responsibility for "Right First Time" delivery to maintain high compliance standards.
Improvement: Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and processes.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or laboratory setting.
Mindset: A strong focus on quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Competence with machinery and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
Soft Skills: Ability to follow complex instructions, multi-task, and work independently under pressure.
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment is highly desirable.
