Location: Greenham Office (1 day per week) with travel across local areas
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

Are you passionate about creating thriving communities and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Housing Officer to join our established team of Housing, ASB, and Scheme Officers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied and rewarding role where you'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, balancing time between home working, the office, and engaging directly with customers and partner organisations across your local area.
The Role
As a Housing Officer , you will be a visible presence within your communities, building strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies to deliver high-quality housing management services.
You'll play a key role in tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management, ensuring services are responsive, compliant, and focused on achieving positive outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management services across your locality.
Act as a trusted point of contact for residents, providing advice, support, and guidance.
Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, community groups, contractors, and partner agencies.
Utilise data and insight to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Support neighbourhood initiatives and community improvements, ensuring customer feedback helps shape services.
Maintain accurate customer records and ensure information is managed responsibly and in line with data protection requirements.
Champion organisational values, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and a customer-first culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Experience within housing management, tenancy management, leasehold services, or neighbourhood management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve complex situations.
A collaborative approach and experience working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of landlord services and housing management practices.
A customer-focused mindset with a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes.
Confidence using digital systems and technology to support effective service delivery.
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
