Goods In/Warehouse Administrator

HOURS ARE 9am to 6pm Our client based in the Stretford area of Manchester is seeking a dedicated Goods In Administrator to join their logistics and supply chain team. This pivotal role involves managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods, ensuring seamless integration into warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will play a key part in optimizing inventory accuracy, supporting process improvements, and maintaining efficient communication with transportation providers and internal departments. Duties * Oversee the receipt of goods, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Utilize Warehouse Management Systems. * Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to schedule deliveries, manage transportation schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or delays. * Manage shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and internal records. * Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing inbound workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices. * Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock levels based on demand forecasts. * Maintain accurate records of all inbound shipments, discrepancies, and returns for audit purposes. Skills * Proven experience in warehouse administration operations, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles. * Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. * Commitment to safety standards and continuous process improvement within warehouse environments.
