Pump Engineer Location: London
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm Some on call
Pump Engineer Drainage & Wastewater Services We are looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join our growing drainage and wastewater team across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of pumping systems within the drainage industry.
Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will attend both planned and reactive jobs for commercial, industrial, and residential clients, ensuring pumping equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, and install sewage and drainage pump systems.
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues on pumping equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown call-outs.
• Inspect pump stations, lifting stations, and associated drainage equipment.
• Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pump Engineer within the drainage or wastewater industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on sewage pumps, dirty water pumps, lifting stations, and control panels.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
