Machine Operator/Production Operative

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Machine Operator / Production Operative to begin work for a well-established food production company in the Fulwood, Preston (PR2) area.

About the role:

* Working Hours: Sunday 9:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm (40 paid hours per week).

* Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour PAYE.

* Brief Role Description: Operating machinery on a milk production and packing line, monitoring production processes, maintaining hygiene and quality standards, and assisting with general production duties. Some flexibility with finishing times may be required.

* Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career progression.

* Additional Benefits: Opportunities for salary increases through skills allowances and an annual employee profit-sharing scheme upon permanent employment, subject to eligibility.

* Start: ASAP – ideally Monday 9th November.

About You:

* High work ethic & team player.

* Punctual & reliable.

* Previous machine operating, manufacturing or food production experience preferred.

* Experience with filling/packing machinery or CIP cleaning systems would be advantageous.

* Mechanically minded and willing to learn new skills.

* Flexible with working hours when required.

* Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
