Support Administrators

We're looking for a caring and reliable In Class Support Assistant to support pupils in schools in Shepton Mallet, with a particular focus on supporting children with autism. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, understanding, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom. The school has great facilities and friendly, supportive staff. Supporting pupils with autism, either 1:1 or in small groups - Helping pupils engage with learning activities and daily routines - Working closely with teachers and other support staff Has experience supporting children with autism (professional or personal) - Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one* *Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
