SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant - c.£65K-£80K Base + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a leading global IT consulting firm and tier-one SAP Platinum Partner, is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to drive complex, next-generation financial transformation initiatives. In this role, you will act as a key subject matter expert, guiding enterprise clients through business process design, blueprints, and the successful execution of cloud and on-premise implementations.

You will be required to:

• Lead end-to-end global delivery workshops to gather, analyze, and map complex business requirements into standard SAP best practices.
• Scope, design, and execute core system configurations across S/4HANA Finance modules (including General Ledger, Asset Accounting, AP/AR, and Controlling).
• Oversee critical project phases: functional specifications, data migration strategies, integration testing, system cut-overs, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, technical teams, and C-level client stakeholders to deliver scalable financial models.

Candidates must have:

• Direct, hands-on experience configuring the SAP S/4HANA Finance module over at least 1-2 full project life cycles (from initial scoping through to deployment).
• Deep structural understanding of universal journal architecture, financial accounting (FI), management accounting (CO), and integration points with logistics (MM/SD).
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate technical architecture into clear, value-driven financial outcomes.
• Active SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is highly advantageous.
