About the role

Support Worker required to work alongside our client, the South Eastern Trust, within a respite unit based in Lisburn, supporting adults with learning disabilities who are receiving respite care.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

You will work as part of a dedicated care team, providing person-centred support including personal care, assistance with meals, daily activities, family interaction, and following individual care plans to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care.

This role can offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the option to pick up additional hours.

Shift patterns are as follows: 8am-3.30pm, 3pm-10.30pm, with occasional night duty required.

This role is for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension.

Hourly rates range from £12.75-£21.55 depending on the shift worked.

MAPA or CPI training is required due to the nature of the role, although training can be provided. xwzovoh

Due to the needs of the service, a female support worker is preferred.
