Head of Chemistry Ealing Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Chemistry for a secondary school in Ealing, starting September 2026. The school has a supportive and collaborative Science department and is looking for a leader with strong subject knowledge who can inspire both students and staff. Contract Details Location: Ealing, London Position: Head of Chemistry Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: September 2026 Hours: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings Experience, Training, and Qualifications QTS or equivalent Significant teaching experience in Chemistry within the UK Leadership or departmental management experience preferred Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year Eligibility Requirements To be considered for this role through Prospero Teaching, candidates must: Hold the right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years Additional Information Prospero Teaching acts as an employment business/education recruitment agency for this vacancy.
