Management Accountant

Robert Half have partnered with a business based in Bath to recruit an interim Management Accountant to backfill support in its finance team, following an internal secondment.

Location: Bath (3 days/week onsite)

Duration: Interim, to end of December (possible extension/perm - not guaranteed)

Hours: 37 hours/week

Day rate: Circa £50,000 pa equivalent.

You'll be the link between the local finance team and the offshore BPO, keeping month-end on track and freeing up the Financial Controller to focus on strategic finance.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinating the transactional finance workflow with the offshore BPO team in India
• Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounting.
• Acting as the go-between for the offshore team, feeding through the information they need to process transactional work
• Picking up ad hoc finance support as needed - this is a broad, hands-on role in a business that moves fast

Profile:

• A strong, competent Management Accountant.
• Confident working independently with limited onboarding and limited day-to-day support
• Comfortable coordinating with an offshore/BPO finance function
• Able to hit the ground running; the business doesn't have capacity for a long induction
