Team Leader – Children's Residential Home Blackpool £15.00 - £17.00 per hour (DOE) Full-Time | Permanent 1 on, 2 off rota with sleep-in About the Role We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our children's residential home in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to lead by example, support a dedicated staff team, and make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people. You'll work alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to provide outstanding care, ensure high standards of practice, and create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive. What You'll Be Doing * Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the home. * Acting as a positive role model for Residential Support Workers. * Supporting children with their emotional, social and behavioural development. * Promoting positive outcomes through person-centred care. * Completing and overseeing accurate records, care plans and incident reports. * Administering medication where required. * Building positive relationships with families and external professionals. * Ensuring safeguarding procedures and Ofsted standards are consistently met. * Participating in team meetings, supervisions and training. * Supporting new staff through mentoring and coaching. What We're Looking For Essential: * Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). * Previous experience within a Children's Residential Home. * Experience leading shifts or working as a Senior/Team Leader. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
