Counterbalance Driver

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Aston, Birmingham. Our client is a well-established manufacturing and distribution company offering long-term opportunities within a busy warehouse and yard environment. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock safely around the site, and supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations. Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and have previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a busy working environment. The Role: * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely * Loading and unloading deliveries * Moving stock around the warehouse and yard * Storing materials in designated locations * Assisting with goods-in and goods-out duties * Carrying out daily vehicle checks * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm Benefits: * £13.00 per hour * Full-time position * Weekly pay * Long-term ongoing work * Opportunity for permanent employment The Person: * Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence essential * Previous Counterbalance FLT experience required * Reliable and hard-working attitude * Good attention to detail * Able to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment * Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Please apply with your CV.
