Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Powys, Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working within production-led environments and is confident carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of machinery and site equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime, minimising downtime, and supporting the smooth running of the production operation. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and site equipment Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues Fault find on both mechanical and electrical systems Support continuous improvement projects and engineering upgrades Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency Assist with installations, repairs, and equipment servicing when required What We're Looking For Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or a similar fast-paced environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working continental shifts including days and nights Engineering qualification preferred (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent) What's on Offer Salary of £42,800 Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern - 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shifts rotating every 2 blocks between days and nights Opportunity to join an established manufacturing business Supportive engineering and production environment Long-term career stability and development opportunities
