Senior IT Technician Norwich £20.44 PAYE OR £26.76 Umbrella 5-6 months (till March 2027) 37.5 hours a week REED Technology are recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Technician to join a large and well-established organisation on a long-term contract based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across complex IT environments, solving technical issues and supporting business-critical systems. You will act as a senior technical escalation point, providing 3rd line support, maintaining core infrastructure services and delivering technical project work. The position offers a varied workload covering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, hardware support and wider infrastructure services. Responsibilities Providing advanced 3rd line infrastructure support Supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments Maintaining network and infrastructure services Investigating and resolving complex technical incidents Supporting upgrades, maintenance and project activity Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders Assisting with infrastructure improvements and technical initiativesSkills and Experience Proven experience within a 3rd Line Support, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure role Strong Windows Server administration experience Advanced Active Directory skills Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments Knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN and wireless networks Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable Microsoft 365 administration SCCM administration ITIL Foundation certification Experience within healthcare, public sector or other large-scale environmentsIf you're an experienced Infrastructure professional looking for a long-term contract opportunity, please contact REED Technology today for a confidential discussion.
