School Administrator - Secondary School

are currently recruiting for an organised and professional School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming secondary school in Newcastle on a full-time basis with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to work within a fast-paced school environment, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing a professional and friendly service to staff, pupils, and visitors. The Role: Providing general administrative support to the school office Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries Maintaining accurate pupil records and data systems Supporting attendance, admissions, and safeguarding administration Assisting with school communications and correspondence Working closely with senior leadership and teaching staff Using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom (desirable) The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous administrative experience within a school setting desirable Strong organisational and communication skills Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom advantageous The ability to work independently and as part of a team A professional and approachable manner An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Position Details: Role: School Administrator Location: Newcastle Pay Rate: £100 – £125 per day Contract: Full time Start Date: ASAP This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and play a key role within the administration team.
