HGV CLASS 1 ADR TANKER DRIVER – DAY SHIFT

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth .

This role will suit applicants looking for work as an HGV Class 1 Driver, ADR Driver, Tanker Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver or Category CE Driver.
Shifts:
• Primarily Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• Occasional PM cover required
Rates of Pay:
• £19.85 - £26.00 per hour
• **Once permanent, guaranteed minimum annual salary from £53,173.12**

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Safely transporting commercial LPG gas to customers nationwide
• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintaining accurate digital logs and delivery documentation
• Communicating effectively with the transport planning team
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service
• Ensuring compliance with all road transport and ADR regulations
Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid ADR Tanker Certificate
• Minimum one year ADR tanker driving experience
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of transport safety and compliance
Desirable Experience:
• Previous LPG or bitumen tanker experience beneficial
• Experience working within hazardous goods transport environments
Training Provided:
• Paid annual CPC training provided
• Full ongoing training and development support
• Driving assessment required prior to starting
